Treaty of Versailles (1919)
Following the end of the First World War, Europe was in tatters. People were starving, industry was destroyed, and millions of sons and husbands never returned to their Moms and Wives. There was one resounding conclusion to this: that this war would be the war to end all wars. A full plan of action was needed to ensure this future and help Europe rebuild following its destruction. Additionally, much of the populace of the war-ravaged nations in the Entente demanded that the Central Powers face punitive measures due to their role in facilitating and carrying on the conflict. This culminated in the Treaty of Versailles in 1919, which set out to bring about a permanent peace in Europe and the world. In this SA, delegates will take the role of nations that were present at the Treaty of Versailles and attempt to bring about European peace, and hopefully negotiate a treaty that will truly make WW1, the war that ended wars.
