Model United Nations

Model United Nations (MUN) is an opportunity for students to travel the country participating in conferences that teach the values of debate, diplomacy, and research! If you're not quite sure what to picture, think of Model Congress or Mock Trial but for the United Nations. Students will get the opportunity to improve upon their public speaking, negotiation, and writing skills as well as learn about cultures and customs from across history and the world.

Alabama's Model UN Team is ranked Top 50 in the world by Best Delegate and is open to interested students of all skill levels. As a member of our team, you'll get the chance to travel the country honing your skills, meet and compete with a variety of students through a variety of committee topics, and build lasting friendships within the Alabama community.
