AIRC & ALMUN
ALMUN is the annual high school Model United Nations conference of the University of Alabama. The conference is staffed by students of the University through the Alabama International Relations Club, a premier student-led organization devoted to developing its members to become leaders and change-makers in all that they do.
AIRC's goal is to create a welcoming community of students with an interest in international relations, facilitate opportunities for professional growth to its members, and give students the tools to make an impact at home in Alabama and in the world beyond. In addition to ALMUN, AIRC facilitates a collegiate conference, AIRMUNC, leads in language learning initiatives in the local community through TILE, introduces MUN debate and skills to local high school students with MUNOP, and houses the University of Alabama’s own Model UN travel team.
